The Aging Veterans Care Relief Fund
The Aging Veterans Care Relief Fund is s 501c3 non profit organized exclusively
to provide charitable temporary emergency financial assistance for all financially and medically disadvantaged and disabled
U.S. citizens over the age of 65 who meet the criteria of the Veteran's Administration aid and attendance disability pension
benefits to prevent going on welfare or be institutionalized for their needed care. The Veterans Administration Disability Pension is a reimbursement program so it requires the low income and disabled
senior claimant to incur the costs of care prior to enabling those costs to be eligible as qualifying expenses for the pension
benefit. Aging Vets seeks to close the gap for Veterans caught in the distance between an application for assistance from
the VA to the time that assistance is released to them by the VA; A Financial gap that can be devastating to a veteran on
a fixed or no other income source due to the disability. The VA normally takes 6 to 8 months to process and make a determination
on the claimant's pension application. Aging Vets
is organized to enable qualified individuals to hire and begin receiving home personal care services from a screened, qualified
and licensed home care agency in the comfort and security of their home during the 6 to 8 months timetable it takes the VA
